Did you ever think of using your cell phone as a recorder for podcasts? Well you can a couple of ways! First, many phones today have recorders. You can use the recorder funtion to create a file and send it to an email address like any other file. If you want to record elsewhere, you can also use a cool site called Gabcast! With Gabcast, you can actually set up phone numbers for your students where they or you can call to record or listen to messages or podcasts!

iPod Educating!

We have already blogged on the iQuiz game. (See below) There are also many SAT review games which can be purchased at low cost! Take a look at the many additional uses for the device! Check out www.issuu.com for a cool free tool to use to create flip books. It is super easy. All you need to do is to convert your document to a PDF and upload. Give it a try. We did!

As an adult, I was able to recognize the fact that the contact I had received was perhaps unsafe, with different motives than my own. The lesson it brought to mind revolved around the simple safety lessons I and we all may have taught our kids..
